The LNG:ECR Seminar Series is back for 2023-2024.
Our first event of the academic year is all about looking-ahead – join us for advice, and discussions on securing postdoc positions, and fellowships.
Unsure how to progress and secure your dream job in academia? LNG:ECRs have invited three researchers at different points in their academic journeys to talk through their experiences – we’ll be hearing from post-docs and fellows on how they secured their positions and from a professor on what he looks for when hiring for these positions.
The event will be held in person at LJMU Byrom Street, in GERI 1.02
The target audience is junior PIs, postdocs and PhD students from Neuroscience community who are interested in learning more about a future in academia with real experiences from different career stages. It is a great networking opportunity, so we are looking forward to seeing you all in person.
