LNG:ECR Seminar – Careers Beyond Academia

On Thursday 2nd May, the LNG:ECRs are heading to LJMU, Student Life Building, Room 302.
The theme of this meeting is Careers Beyond Academia, where we’ll hear about the experiences of 3 professionals and discuss their diverse career paths outside academia.
Join us from 3pm, for refreshments and an opportunity to get hands-on with ANT Neuro’s EEG Equipment (with Dr Andrew Hanson).
Presentations will begin at 4pm, and these will be followed by a panel discussion and a social.

About LNG:ECR:
We are a multi-disciplinary group of young researchers (students, postdocs, PIs) with research spanning many diverse areas in neuroscience. We are a sub-group of the Liverpool Neuroscience Group which includes the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University, Edge Hill University, The Walton Centre.
The target audience is junior PIs, postdocs and postgraduate & undergraduate students from the Neuroscience community. It is a great networking opportunity, so we are looking forward to seeing you all in person
