Abstract Body | Bio-Body Composition (BBC) or Body Composition can ascertain how healthy a normal human being is, which is influenced by his own lifestyle and various environmental agents. Changes in body composition are very obvious with ageing, but they can also be altered by health conditions. Body composition analysis reflects the changes in human health, morbidity, and mortality. Humans can develop these diseases at any age. Therefore, now we can add age to the causes of illness. Alternatively, can age be helpful in the prediction of chronic disease so that we can determine who is healthy and who is diseased? In general, ageing is viewed as a natural process and not a disease. Ageing is a universal occurrence, and every living species undergoes ageing. Ageing is associated with the composition of the human body. With ageing, body composition also changes, sometimes causing health issues. For example, a decrease in muscle mass leads to sarcopenia; a decrease in bone mass and density leads to osteoporosis; an increase in arterial hardening causes hypertension; and brain tissue atrophy can cause dementia. Some common and universal causes of disease in humans are classified as diseases that require medical intervention. Ageing is associated with many diseases; thus, many researchers have different views on ageing. Some argue that ageing should be considered a disease, while many others declare that ageing is not a disease, although it fits the given definition of a disease. Ageing is one of the main risk factors for major life-threatening medical conditions, including diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. Some significant relationships have already been examined, such as DNA repair and cancer, while others have barely been examined, such as autophagy and cardiovascular disease. We investigated the relationship between the BBC and ageing and developed a biomarker for healthy ageing. |
